Great tight articulate deep bass.I've had two of these subwoofers in my music/theatre system for nearly two months and I'm still trying to figure out these compact subwoofers are able to to produce articulate deep bass. Given the dimensions and placement requirements of my music/theatre system I auditioned subs from several highly regarded manufactures with mixed results. Some were great for music others for theatre but I wasn't completely happy until I finally listened to the KF92. Incredibly deep, powerful and articulate bass that excelled at music and theatre, something no other compact sub I auditioned was able to do.
Excellent subwoofer for the moneyI tried many subwoofers and just couldn’t get that right bass into my system but with the kf92 things got much much better I love this sub thank you guys a lot.
Great Sub integrated seamlessly into my sound roomGreat Sub integrated seamlessly into my sound room. Paired with the Oppo 105, KEF 205/2 Speakers Emotiva USP1 Pre & XPA1,1000W/ch monoblocks in custom music music room 12.5x20ft; well treated. Tried 2 other subs before (Paradygm 10" and 15") and couldn't get the integration, either with or without the Bass Management on the pre. Dropped the KC62 into service and immediately sounded great with Pre Bass Management on; crossed over at 80 Hz. I assume it was the "speed" of the sub matching my mains but whatever, the integration was prefect. Very musical and no loss of warmth when crossed over. Result if very tight bass response (vs "fat bass" with other subs). Wonderful.
Just buy itCurrently running 2 of these with my KEF Reference 1's and they are fantastic. Deep, tight bass without being overbearing and sloppy. It punches well above it's 2000 price point. Will be getting a third one for my LS50 setup soon.
