Speakers good. Interface needs work

As a less expensive option in the KEF LSX line this set succeeds with regard to excellent sound in a nice compact format obviously drawing upon extensive experience with the LS50, etc. But when making the wifi connection I had issues only to find that the app (not the instructions) said the router needed to be a) in direct line with speakers and b) within 40 feet!). This solved the problem but this is a limitation that should not be necessary and is not always easily solvable. Interestingly I could not find it in reviews of speakers. So sound 5 stars and interface 2 stars. And I will keep my BW 805s

I bought the LSX II LTs speakers in green for my bedroom and they're outstanding. I also purchased the Kef S1 stands, which are really slick. You can run the speaker cable through the stand for a clean look.

One major issue I have is the length of the USB-C cable provided. My speakers are well within the suggested max range, however the cable is not even close to being long enough for me to run it up through both speaker stands. To me, that was a major selling point for the stands.

After spending $1,000 on speakers and $350 on the stands, I will need to purchase a $60 cable to setup my speakers as advertised.
